Baby Eddie J. Parrott, III

Eddie J. Parrott, III, affectionately known as “Trey” was born January 30, 2009. He was the youngest son of eight children born to Eddie and Paula Parrott, Sr. of Shady Dale. He died May 8.

Although Trey was only here a little more than three months, he will be loved and missed for a lifetime. He was a very lively baby with a beautiful smile.

Survivors in addition to his parents include five brothers, Eddie Parrott II of Athens, Kelvin Whidby, Avery Davis and Cameron of Shady Dale; Marcus Parrott of Greensboro; two sisters, Mya Parrott of Greensboro and Diamond Parrott of Warrenton; maternal grandparents, Lizzie Green of Monticello, Riley and Jewel Kelly of Shady Dale; paternal grandparents Raymond and Ernestine Parrott of White Plains, and a number of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held Saturday, May 16, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Shady Dale. The Rev. Jimmy Horton officiated.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
