Mrs. Beverly Renal “Renee” Battle

Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Renal “Renee” Battle, who died May 3, were held last Thursday at White Chapel C.M.E. Church in Hillsboro.

The Rev. Willie B. Card, III, officiated; burial was in New Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Battle was born January 22, 1957, in Jasper County to the late Willie B. Card, II, and Carrie Lizzie Card.
She married Joseph Battle, and they had three children.
She was preceded in death by ther father and several other relatives.

Survivors include her mother; three children, Jarvis of Adairsville; Adrain of Cleveland, Ohio, and Scenthy Watts of Milledgeville; two sisters, Rochelle Brown of Covington and Darlene Whidby of Monticello; five brothers, Willie B. Card, III, Lewis Card and Curtis Card, all of Monticello, Jessie Card of Hickory, N.C., and John Davis of Eatonton.; nine grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Albert Gantt, Ed Pennamon, Jessie Mohorn, Bobby Rivers, Dion Brown, and Chester Rivers.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
