James Vernon “Jamie” Hewatt

James Vernon “Jamie” Hewatt, 35, of Monticello, formerly of Lawrenceville, died Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Survivors include his parents, Vernon Douglas and Martha (Jones) Hewatt of Monticello, brothers; Timothy Hewatt of Monticello, Kenny Hewatt of Shady Dale, Andy Hewatt of Monticello, several uncles and aunts including Juanita Wills of Shady Dale, niece; Kayla Hewatt, nephew; Richard Hewatt, and numerous other relatives.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hewatt was held Sunday, Nov. 16, at Crossroads Baptist Church, in Lawrenceville. Revs. Lloyd Ferguson and Mike Freeman officiated. Interment followed at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville.
