Several Are Arrested
Patricia Faye Collins of Monticello was arrested last weekend by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and charged with theft by taking, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and on an outstanding Jasper County Magistrate Court Bench Warrant.
According to reports in the Magistrate Court office, Ms. Collins was evicted from a furnished rental property and took all the furniture and appliances from the residence. The report also specified the property had intentional water damage.
The JCSO also reported the following arrests for the period of April 21 through 28:

Wilson Cody Bullard and Brooke Brianna Tillman, Monticello—possession of alcohol under 21.
Jeffery Scott Collins, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
Earl Lee Bell, Monticello—simple battery, cruelty to children.
Mendy Burgess Lopez, Norcross—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain lane.
Tony Lamar Benton, Covington—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, criminal trespass, driving while license suspended or revoked, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, turn signal violation.
Also, during this same period deputies with the JCSO responded to 139 calls for service including 30 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, eight alarm, six each theft by taking, accident and escort or convoy, four each domestic, livestock on road and juvenile complaint, two each fight, dog disturbance and assault, one each discharge firearms, possible suicide, argument, persons refuse to leave and missing person.
The Monticello Police did not report any arrests for the period, however, officers did respond to 111 calls for service including 42 escort or convoy, 19 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, five each foot patrol, subject needs officer and music/noise complaint, two each alarm and argument, one each fight, dog disturbance, accident with injuries, missing person, juvenile complaint, vandalism of property and indecent exposure.
During this same period the Georgia State Patrol reported the following arrests:
Stephen Timothy Parker, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, open container.
Michael Anthony Rossi, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Gary Pittman Reed, Decatur—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
