William Eric Kubitz

William Eric Kubitz, 65, formerly of Marion, S.C. died December 22 after an extended illness. Graveside services are scheduled today, Dec. 27, at 3 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion S.C., directed by Richardson Funeral Home.

Mr. Kubitz was born in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late William Erich Kubitz and Mary Kate Dozier Kubitz. He was a Marion High School graduate and received a BS degree in business administration at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He worked as a Divisional Human Resource Manager in Wood and Fiber Procurement for Georgia-Pacific Corp., and worked as personnel manager at the Monticello plant for a number of years. Mr. Kubitz was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kaye Coleman Kubitz; sons, William Eric Kubitz, III of Fort Mill, S.C., Bryan Coleman Kubitz of Marietta, and a daughter, Mary Katherine Creel of Newton, N.C.
