Grand Jury Presents Indictments
A special session of the Grand Jury for Jasper Superior Court convened Tuesday and indicted the following individuals with charges as indicated:
Demarcus Dewayne Lynwood—statutory rape, enticing a child for indecent purposes.
Benjamin Dudley, Jr.—burglary, criminal attempt (two counts each).
Hadley P. Jackson—possession of meth, possession of drugs without original container, manufacturing of marijuana.
Chris Rouse—burglary.
P. Brandon Humphreys—obstruction of officer-felony, interference of government property, DUI, public drunkenness, reckless driving.
Randy Michael George—possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
Jay Cheek—damaging property of public utility company, theft of services.
Jerrell Fears—burglary, entering an auto.
Willie F. Sanders, Jr.—aggravated assault.
Amanda Lazorchak—burglary.
Steven Ross—burglary.
Quincy Bogan—registration of sex offenders.
Frances G. Leverette—registration of sex offenders.

An indictment does not indicate guilt; it merely says there is enough evidence to take the case to Superior Court where it may be settled with a plea bargain or taken to trial.
In other crime related information, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests for the period December 5 through 11:
Desi Jamar Appling, Monticello—parole violation.
Michael Dewayne Glover, Monticello—violation of protective order.
Willie Lewis Thurman, Monticello—Probate Court Bench Warrant.
Hugh Lawrence Behling, Hillsboro—probation violation.
Terell Eugene Stinson, Shady Dale—parole violation.
Bobbie Jo Walters, Covington—improper tag, driving with license expired, driving without insurance.
Dwayne Boyd Beasley, Ellijay—probation violation.
