Willie G. Henson

Willie G. Henson, 50, were held December 2 at Raleigh Rucker Chapel in Decatur with burial in Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Mansfield. The Rev. Jimmy Horton officiated.
He died November 27.

Mr. Henson was born April 6, 1956 to the late Willie Godfrey and Marie Henson. He attended Jasper County schools where he was an active basketball player. He was fond of music and dance.

Mr. Henson joined Bethel Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Three brothers, Roy Lee Henson, James Thomas Henson, and Matthew Brown, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Sonya Wise of Monticello; son, Juwan McWhoter of Atlanta; grandson, Jamel Gude of Monticello; two brothers, Willie C. Henson of Decatur and Puckett Bayne of Covington; five sisters, Anna Joe Henson of Covington, Rosa Lee Henson of Jackson, Deborah B. Sullivan of Conyers, Dorothy Ann Henson of Alanta, and Shirley Smith of Atlanta; two aunts; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Raleigh Rucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
