Estella Lawrence

Funeral services for Estella Lawrence, 75, were held Saturday, Nov. 25 at Maddox Chapel in Hillsboro with burial in New Community Cemetery in Adgateville.
She died Tuesday, Nov. 21 at Good Will Nursing Home in Macon.

Mrs. Lawrence was born November 19, 1931 to the late Will LaVaughn and Magnolia Mercer LaVaughn.
Three sisters, Willie Mae Rooks, Annie Kate Richards, and Mattie Pearl Driskell, and two brothers, Ulysses LaVaughn and George LaVaughn, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, James Lawrence; daughter, Jackie Lawrence Allison of Monticello; two sons, Stanley Lawrence of Covington and Willie George Lawrence of Adgateville; four sisters, Emma L. Maddox Mary Bell Lavander of Columbus, Oh., Lee Ann Ridley of Atlanta, and Naomi Carey of Hillsboro; three brothers, Charles, Ben, and Fred LaVaughn; eight grandchildren, Timothy, Antoinette, Monica, Shaveka, Mikhail, Ashley, Tyree, and Cameron; two great-grandchildren, Jakobe and Daylon; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; three God children; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
