Arrests Are Listed
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests during the period of November 13-20:
•Adam Wayne Baker, Monticello—theft by taking, possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
•Gale Wayne Wright, Jr., Monticello—theft by taking, possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
•David Ray Hulsey, Jr., Monticello—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
•Teresa Childers Deal, Monticello—Jasper County Magistrate Court Bench Warrant.
•Franklin Lanorris Ellison, Hillsboro—probation violation.
•Michael Edward Rutherford, Covington—Jasper County Superior Court Bench Warrant.
•Evin Dearro, Shady Dale—deposit account fraud.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO served nine warrants and 39 civil processes.
They conducted 22 traffic stops and responded to 122 calls for service including 19 traffic accidents, 10 thefts, seven dog disturbance, six theft by taking, one burglary and one stabbing.
During this same period the Monticello Police Department made the following arrests:
•Alray Leon Goolsby, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Summer Marie Carrey, Monticello—DUI, failure to maintain lane.
•Maggie Pagle, Hillsboro—public drunk.
•Ronald Eugene Alston, Hillsboro—DUI, failure to maintain lane.
•Mario Miguel Perez, Monticello—no license, improper backing.
Also, during this period the MPD responded to 85 calls for service including 40 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, eight escort or convoy, three alarms, two accidents, one fight and one possible suicide.
During the previous week, Nov. 6-13, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
•Michael Clayton Holman, Monticello—DUI, headlight violation, failure to maintain lane, no license on person.
•Lester Kyle Bankston, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Glenderick Lamar Stewart, Monticello—child support.
•Patricia Diane Komisarow, Mansfield—disorderly conduct.
•Felicia Renea Jackson, Monticello—deposit account fraud.
•Lonnie Ray Damron, Loganville—Probate Court Bench Warrant.
•Joseph Steven Chandler, Covington—probation violation.
•William Joseph Toath, Covington—probation violation.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO served 2 warrants and 13 civil processes. They conducted 26 traffic stops resulting in 16 warnings and nine citations, and responded to 112 calls for service including 17 accidents, six music/noise complaint, four vandalism of property, one burglary, one stabbing, and one identity fraud/theft.
During this same period the Monticello Police Department made one arrest: Charles Edward Lynch of Monticello was charged with disorderly conduct.
The MPD also responded to 73 calls for service including 18 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 14 escort or convoy, three accidents, one fight, one burglary, one hit and run, one theft by taking and one crowd disbursement.
In addition, during this period the Department of Natural Resources made the following arrests:
•Derrick Shane McClure, Conyers—hunting big game without a license, hunting without a license.
•Keven Jeffery Poynter, Conyers—hunting without a license, hunting big game without a license, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana.
•Jason Wayne Hyde, Newborn—hunting over bait, hunting without florescent orange, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
