JV Cougars Are 5-2
The Piedmont Academy junior varsity football team finished a successful season last week with a 16-8 win against Nathanael Greene.
The JV Cougars finished the season 5-2 overall rebounded from a slow 1-2 start to win their final four contests.
“It was a great year,” said coach Danny Camp. “The players learned each week and we were glad to see them finish so strong.”
Camp said assistant coaches Johnny Strother, John Brown and Scott Kimball also played a key role in the JV success in 2006.
“Since I coach both the varsity and junior varsity, it was important to have them there to help conduct practice,” Camp said. “These coaches deserve a lot of credit.”
