Marcella Edwards Davidson

Marcella Edwards Davidson, 63, of Monticello, died Saturday, Sept. 23, at Macon Northside Hospital.

Mrs. Davidson was a native of Rome. Her parents were the late Marion Monroe Edwards and Josephine Lucinda West Edwards. She lived in Hapeville for a number of years before moving to Jasper County in 1989.

She was a member of Callie Fuller Baptist Church. Mrs. Davidson was a manager for 10 years for the Dwarf House Chic-Fil-A in Hapeville. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Davidson of Monticello; children and spouses, Charles and Lora Stephens of Newnan, Connie and Tommy Reeves of St. Augustine, Fla., Clint Davidson and Cynthia Brock, both of Monticello; grandchildren, Meghan Stephens, Bucky Stephens, Casey Stephens, Danielle Reeves, Stephanie Brock, Danny Brock, and Ashley Brock; great-grandchild, Allie Dewdney; brother, Stanley Edwards of Tucker; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were to be held Tuesday, September 26, at 11 a.m. at Callie Fuller Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Grady Fuller and Rev. Tim Parker officiated.

Pallbearers were to be Jerry Stephens, Casey Stephens, Billy Bairentine, Jay Fedel, Jerry Davidson, Jr., and Gary Champion.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Jordan Funeral Home, 264 Hillsboro Street, Monticello.

Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
