Frank ‘Butch’ Gazaway

Frank Marion “Butch” Gazaway, Jr., 64, died Tuesday, July 4 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Mr. Gazaway was born in DeKalb County to Latrelle Presley Gazaway and the late Frank Marion Gazaway, Sr. He lived in Clayton County for a number of years before moving to Jasper County in 1986.

Before retirement, he was a superintendent and operator for Alcovy Shores Water Authority. He loved to work and had been unable to so four years. He was a loving husband, daddy and son.

His father and sister, Jennie Hodges, preceded him in death.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Juanita Talley Gazaway; son, Frank Gazaway, III, both of Monticello; and brother Johnny Gazaway of Atlanta.

The family sends appreciation to Lynn Haven Healthcare for the care given to Butch for the last year and requests any donations be made to Lynn Haven Healthcare, 747 Monticello Hwy., Gray, Ga. 31032.

Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
