Shon Johnson

Shon Johnson of Oxford, 32, died June 18, in an automobile accident on Hwy. 212 west in Jasper County.

A member of Callie Fuller Baptist Tabernacle, Mr. Johnson loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing, was a NASCAR fan, and was “the biggest cut-up in the world,” say family members. He was a loving husband, father and son.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Johnson; daughter, Katee Lynn Johnson and son, William Gregory Johnson, all of Oxford; parents, Phillip and Trish Johnson of Monticello; sister, Sarah Nicole Johnson of Snellville; uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Cindy Johnson of Carrollton, and cousin, Alan Johnson, also of Carrollton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 21, in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Phillip Johnson and Pastor Jim Sizemore officiated, with burial at Lawnwood Memorial Park.

Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
