Julie Hughes

A memorial service for Julie L. Hughes, 46, of Covington, was to be held Wednesday, June 21, at 8 p.m. at Ward’s Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge.
The family was to receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.

Ms. Hughes died in an automobile accident in Jasper County in the early hours of Sunday, June 18.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy W. Hembree, and wife, Cori, of Monticello; son, Brandon W. Hughes of Smyrna; daughter, Shannon R. Hughes of Stockbridge; mother, Anna Ruth Bennett of Stockbridge; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Scott Gray of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Alexandra and Parker Hembree, and several other relatives.

Memorial donations may be made to The Potter’s House, P.O. Box 1401, Jackson, GA 30233; or the American Cancer Society.

Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, was in charge of arrangements.
