Myrtice Watson
Myrtice Velma Evans Watson, 94, of Macon, died Wednesday, April 26, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Myrtice Watson was a native of Jasper County. She lived in Warner Robins before moving to Macon ten years ago. Her parents were the late Walter S. Evans and Georgia Florence Chaffin Evans.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Warner Robins. She enjoyed volunteering in nursing homes and playing with her grandchildren. Her husband, Herschael Vivian Watson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Renee and Ernest Fielder of Macon and Hubert F. Watson and Michele Hackworth of Lake City; grandchildren, Jason D. Watson, Candace L. Fielder and J. Keith Fielder; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Watson and Maeve Watson; brother, Olin L. Evans of Clinton, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home, with burial in Chaffin Family Cemetery in Jasper County. Pastor Bob Moon and Rev. L. Lanier Kitchens officiating.
Pallbearers were Jason Watson, Art Prince, Jimmy Fletcher, Bobby Fletcher, Robert Kitchens and Johnn Deeb.
Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
