Tuesday Is Criminal Arraignment Day

Jasper County Superior Court convened on Tuesday, March 6, with the Judge Hugh V. Wingfield, III, presiding over the proceedings for the criminal arraignment calendar and motion day calendar.

Beginning with the Criminal Arraignment calendar, the following individuals, with charges as indicated, pled not guilty to the charges noted:

•Robert Edgar Anderson, Jr.—terroristic threats and acts.

•Waldo E. Brown—possession of firearms by convicted felon.

•Daryelle A. Chappell—burglary, harassing phone calls.

•Jerry Lewis Crowe—possession of firearm by convicted felon, marijuana less than an ounce, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, failure to transfer vehicle title, cancellation of certificate of title, operating used motor vehicle without a license, operating used motor vehicle parts without license.

•Lonnie Delee—hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal, obstruction of officer.

•Bridgette Green—five counts of financial identity fraud.

•David Jason Greene—two counts of burglary.

•Quincy Cornelius Griggs—VGCSA/sale of cocaine.

•Mark Peterman Heinz—terroristic threats and acts, reckless conduct.

•David Joiner—terroristic threats and acts.

•Joseph Frank Lawson, III—dumping dead dog on public property, theft by taking, possession of firearms by convicted felon.

•Obie Lucky—aggravated assault.

•Barbara Dianne Ray—bring items within guard lines of jail.

•Jeremy Curtis Joiner—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction of officer, possession of firearm during commission of crime, going inside guard line with drugs.

•Timothy Bo Reese—driving while habitual violator.

•Bridgette T. Ross—hindering apprehension of criminal.

•Charleston Russell—obstruction of officers a felony.

•Christina Leeann Washington—interference with government property, simple battery.

The following individuals, with charges indicated, failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued for their arrest:

•Christopher Charles Farrar—VGCSA/possession of cocaine, possession of firearm by convicted felon, simple battery, interfering with 911 call.

•Dexter Lane—possession of firearms by convicted felon.

•Chad Edward Morris—theft by receiving stolen property, possession of motor vehicle with identification removed.

•Bart Wesley Ray—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence, obstruction of officers.

•Tiffany Kelly Ray—cruelty to children in the first degree, interfering with 911 call, simple battery.

•Ricky Daniel Still—forgery first degree.

•Bobby Gene Strickland—aggravated assault.

One guilty plea was accepted from Donald Smith charged with VGCSA, and he was sentenced to three years probation.

In regards to the Criminal Motion Day Calendar, the following action was taken:

•Jeremiah Vernon Tilson—probation revoked.

•Dewayne Eddie Williams—bond denied. He is charged with child molestation and rape.

•Paul Joseph Williamson—bond denied. He is charged with aggravated child molestation.
