Many Are Arraigned
The Jasper County Criminal Arraignment Calendar convened on Tuesday, Feb. 21, with the Honorable James L. Cline, Jr., presiding.
The following cases pled not guilty, or waived arraignment, and are scheduled for trial. Some could be tried as soon as the week of March 13:
•Hal Winston Cline—aggravated child molestation, child molestation-four counts.
•Reginal Dean Robinson—sexual exploitation of children-six counts.
•Chris Labriola—child molestation.
•Ernest Wilson—child molestation-three counts.
•Billy Shawn Ramey—child molestation-two counts;
enticing a child for indecent purposes-two counts, aggravated child molestation-two counts.
•Robert Lanis Chaisson—sexual exploitation of children-13 counts; child molestation-four counts.
•Cheryl Carpenter—possession of drugs w/o valid container-two counts; DUI less safe.
•Laura Michelle McMillan—possession of methamphetamine.
•Amanda Sue Custer—criminal trespass.
•Samuel Earl Moyer—marijuana less than 1 oz, driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Lori Davis—possession of methamphetamine, seat belt violation, defective equipment, driving on suspended license.
•Thomas E. Patton, Jr.—possession of methamphetamine.
•Steve Mark Colquitt—simple battery.
•John Newton Copelan—false report of a crime.

•Quantez Demon Jackson—carrying a concealed weapon, possession of cocaine, inmate possession of drugs, inmate possession of weapons, obstruction of officers.
•Chris Hooten—possession of methamphetamine, possession of alcohol by minor, DUI alcohol by minor, DUI alcohol less safe, DUI alcohol.
•Quana Neile Griggs—sale of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of firearm during commission of a crime.
•Kent Raymond Morris, Jr.—sale of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of firearm during commission of a crime.
The following cases failed to appear in court and had bench warrant issued, or already had an outstanding bench warrant:
•Lee Jones, Jr.—speeding.
•Roy Lee Holt—theft by receiving stolen property.
•Stacy Eugene Watson—obstruction of officer, possession of methamphetamine, safety belt violation.
•Novsakie Jermaine Wells—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Vickie Lynn Middleton—deposit account fraud.
•Debbie Jean Johnson—possession of cocaine.
•Edward Isaac McMillan, Sr.—possession of methamphetamine.
•Jessica Marie Fitts—theft by taking.
•John Gregory Branham— simple assault, obstruction of officers, simple battery.
•Monica Elaine Ellington—obstruction of officers.
•Debrah Leigh Thomason—simple battery.
•Martha Faye Holloway—possession of cocaine.
A continuance was granted in the following cases:
•Kodi Lee Hill—aggravated child molestation-three counts.
•Richard David Hill—theft by taking.
•Ronald Wayne Gullett—suspended license, open container, reckless driving , DUI alcohol.
•Dennis Earle Moore, Jr.—simple battery, criminal damage to property in second degree.
•Eric Daniel Wilson—simple battery, criminal damage to property in second degree.
The case against Odis Lee Ammons Jr., possession of cocaine was dismissed.
The case against Willie Charles Driskell for obstruction of an officer was dropped.
A guilty plea was accepted from Johnathan Wesley Barnes charged with simple battery, who was sentenced to 12 months probation plus fines.
