Lula Broddus Thompson

Memorial services for Lula Broddus Thompson, 67, of Covington, will be Thursday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
She died January 26.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Jasper County on October 12, 1938 to the late Tommie and Lucille Broddus.

Mrs. Thompson will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and strength. Her unselfish ways and loving nature touched many lives.
Survivors include her husband, Zettie Thompson of Covington; sisters, Ethelene Miller, Annie Dekle, both of Monticello; brother, Willie Broddus of Decatur; two stepdaughters; nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
