Middle School Canes Win Second Game of the Season
The Middle School Hurricane boys earned their second win of the season on the road at Youth Middle School last Friday.
The 42-40 win takes the squad to 2-6 thus far in the season with three games and the league tournament remaining.
Joseph Standifer scored 16 points while Myles Campbell and Keldrick Davis each posted 13 points.
Coach John Hopper said that his team had lost several close competitions this year but was happy to have the Youth competition fall their way.
The Lady Canes fell to Youth and are 1-7 for the season.
The middle school squads were to host Carver Middle School Wednesday at home. They will travel to Greene County Friday, Jan. 13 and host Loganville Wednesday, Jan. 18.
