Rev. Stanley Landrum

Funeral services for the Rev. Stanley Barnett Landrum, 80, are scheduled for December 7 at Hazelhurst United Methodist Church in Mississippi at 10 a.m. with burial in Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson, Ms.
He died December 4 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.

Rev. Landrum was born January 30, 1925 in Leake County to the late Rev. Van R. and Sara Elizabeth Landrum. He served in the United Methodist Conference for 15 years as a minister and served at 37 churches during that time. In June 2005 he received a certificate of appreciation for 50 years of service to the Conference.

He was also a United States Army Veteran of WWII and of the Korean Conflict. He was a Master Mason of the Ovett Lodge #571.

His first wife, Ann Price Landrum, and siblings Van O. Landrum, Hollis T. Landrum, Carolyn Landrum Salley, and William Denson Landrum, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Graham Landrum of Pearl, Ms.; sons, Garry B. Landrum of Foxworth, Ms., Thomas Landrum of Gulfport, Ms., Wesley D, Landrum of Union, Ms., Dutch Landrum of Shady Dale, Van A. Salley of Houston, Tx., Jack Graham of Hamilton, Tx., and Jerry Graham of Lake Jackson, Tx.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
