Matthew Thompson

Funeral services for Matthew W. Thompson, 17, formerly of Monticello, were held Saturday in the chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home with burial in Hill Haven Memory Gardens. The Revs. Steve Hicks, Kelly Teague, and Bill Waters officiated.
He died March 24.
Mr. Thompson was a native of Gainesville, Fla. born to Randy and Deborah Walters Thompson. He was employed at Gwinnett Sprinkler Company in Lawrenceville.
In addition to his parents survivors include siblings Katie Thompson and Randy Thompson, Jr., both of Monroe; grandparents, William and Geri Walters of Mountain City, Tenn. and Betty Chavers of Covington; fiance, Tabitha Jones of Monroe; and several relatives.
Arthur Bowick, Inc. Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
