Frank L. Bullard
Frank L. Bullard, Jr. of Hoover, Ala. died March 1 of pneumonia.
He was born March 15, 1925 in the Machen community in Jasper County. He served as a Naval officer during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, and a retired engineer from Fairfield Works of U.S. Steel in Birmingham.
A 58-year member of the Walton Masonic Lodge #200 in Shady Dale, Mr. Bullard was also a member of the Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary M. “Pat” Bullard of Hoover, Ala.; two sons, Frank L. “Rusty” Bullard, III, of Machen and John H. Bullard of Birmingham, Ala., a daughter, Sally K. Bullard of Gainesville; grandchildren, Rett Bullard, Will Bullard, Sean Bullard, and Taylor Bullard.
The family will have visitation at Jordan Funeral Home in Monticello on Friday, March 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale, with burial in the Bullard family plot in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Masonic Home Endowment Fund at 811 Mulberry Street, Macon, Ga. 31201.
