Edna Fullerton

Edna Goolsby Fullerton, 87, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Jan. 22. A graveside service was held Saturday, January 24, at Fullerton Memorial Gardens in Hillsboro. Dr. Grady Fuller officiated.

Serving as pallbearers were Robert Gilbert, Neil Gilbert, D.R. Arnold, Bill Morse, Jason Rubin, and Jerry Keirns.

Mrs. Fullerton was born in Jones County and moved to Jasper County around 1945. Her parents were the late Thomas C. Goolsby and Sudie Freeman Goolsby. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and Hillsboro Baptist Church. Her husband, James Barron Fullerton, preceded her in death 25 years ago.

Survivors include her children, Sudy F. Stuckey of Hillsboro, Yulynn F. Hightower of Macon, and Anthony B. Fullerton of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Amy Gilbert, Fran Arnold, Kacie Stuckey, Hollie Hightower, Victoria Hightower, India Leigh Hightower, Bill Morse, Tracy Keirns, Kelly Rubin, and Jamie Fullerton; great-grandchildren, Neil Gilbert, Morgan Gilbert, Jacob Long, Emma Arnold, Nova Morse, Dayton Morse, Kandace Keirns, and Jonathan Keirns; brother, Bennie Goolsby of Gray; and sisters, Marie Tillman of Hillsboro and Sarah Sammons of Harker Heights, Texas.

Jordan Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
