Marion Whitlatch

Graveside services for Marion Louise Whitlatch, 86, were held November 23 at East View Cemetery in Conyers. The Rev. James Hall officiated and the eulogy was given by John Scherer, II.

She died November 21 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Whitlatch was born July 20, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Clare Jordan Parmalee and Mable Dene Parmalee. She had lived in Union and Rockdale Counties.

Her husband, Bruce C. Whitlatch, preceded her in death.

Survivors included daughters, Lynda Bruce of Blairsville, Judy Hughes of Alabama, and Virginia Bradley of Monticello; son, William Whitlatch of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Michael Bruce, Matthew Bruce, David Shaner, Richard Tumlin, David Whitlatch and Donnie Mosley.

Mountain View Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
