Robert Lee Williams

Funeral services for Robert Lee Williams were held November 28 at Sardis C.M.E. Church with burial in South View Cemetery. The Rev. Alfred Murray officiated.

He died November 25 at the Retreat Nursing Home.
Mr. Williams was born June 24, 1925 as the youngest child of six to the late Willie Oscar Williams and Emma Pope.

All of his siblings and three children preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Thomas Williams of Monticello; daughters, JoAnn Barnes, Patricia Mullins, Bernice Williams, Tomacia Williams and Jacqueline Willis; sons, Jimmy Williams and Larry Williams, all of Milledgeville; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; step-children, Martha Thomas, Shirley Tyus, Fred Thomas, Kathy Thomas, Mary Thomas, Ethel Thomas, Jeff Thomas, and Elizabeth Thomas.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
