Eddie Lee White, Jr.

Funeral services for Eddie Lee White, Jr., 56, were held Sunday at Prospect-Liberty CME Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ricky Hammond officiated.
He died October 29 at his home.

Mr. White was born December 3, 1946 to the late Eddie Lee White, Sr. and Claudia Mae Dennis White in Jasper County. He attended the Georgia Academy For the Blind and the Jasper County Training School. He had worked for the Dekalb County Park and Recreation Department, Feldspar and most recently Monticello Food Pride.

Mr. White was a devoted member of Prospect-Liberty CME Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Daisy Byron of Covington and Willie Mae White of Rutledge; brother, Earnest White of Covington; nieces, Katherine Byron and Lisa Brown, both of Covington; nephews, Jerome White, Charles White, Daniel Byron, Phillip Byron, all of Covington; aunt, Marie Holland of Monticello; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
