Mary Dixie Lynn

Graveside services for Mary Dixie Lynn, 27, of Hillsboro, were held Sunday at Union Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Eatonton. The Rev. Joe L. McKibben and Ruth Thompson officiated.
She died January 16 at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Miss Lynn was born in Athens to Doris Leggett Lynn and the late Delmas Lynn of Hillsboro. She was a lifelong resident of Jasper County and a Baptist.
In addition to her mother survivors include an aunt, Minnie Hicks; uncles, Johnny Leggett and Charles Leggett, all of Hillsboro; adopted father and special friends, Alvin Yates, Sr. and Wanda Yates, Glenn Yates, Alvin Yates, Jr. and Melanie Yates, all of Monticello and Michael Yates of Covington; and godchild, Jacob Howard of Monticello.
