Douglas Campbell

Funeral services for Douglas M. Campbell, 58, were held Sunday at the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with burial in Melrose Cemetery in Abbeville, S.C.
He died December 12 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Campbell was a native of Abbeville, S.C. before he moved to Toombs County three years ago. He was a civil engineer, a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam, a member of Jasper County Masonic Lodge, a member of Al Sihah Shrine Temple in Macon, a foster parent and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Campbell of Lyons; children, Shannon Campbell of Hudson, Fla., Lonna Glisson of Keystone Heights, Fla., Lee Price of Laurinburg, N.C., Jessica Camp-bell, Justice, Aaron, Dylan, Savannah, Lois, James and Emily, all of Lyons; brothers, James Campbell of Columbia, S.C., Michael Lee Campbell and Robert C. Campbell, both of South Carolina; two sisters, Terri Lewis and Patricia Lynn Dangerfield, both of S.C.; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of arrangements.
