‘Cane Basketball Teams Win Openers in Forsyth

Win, Win, Win !

It was a clean sweep for three Monticello basketball squads on the road Tuesday as they swept Mary Persons in their season openers.

The 7th-ranked Lady Hurricanes rolled to a 62-46 win, led by Traci Glawson’s 24 points.

The varsity boys completed the sweep with a 70-65 win over the Bulldogs. Brian Green led the scoring with 16 points.

The night began with a 45-29 win by the j.v. boys. Marvin Bishop led the win with 13 points.
