In the first game, Heather Lewis was the winning pitcher. Diana Hardy, Libby Aiken and Jennifer Mobley were each 2-for-3 while Bailey Myers had two RBIs.
The second game went down to the bottom of the seventh inning. Trailing 8-7, the Lady Cougars started their rally when Carrie Tucker walked and Mandi Pulliam and Emily Beckham had hits to load the bases.
Myers then had a grounder to shortstop. Tucker beat the throw home which got away from the catcher allowing Pulliam to score the winning run.

“We are playing well right now,” said Piedmont coach Danny Camp. “We are playing well at a good time.”
