Sammy Larman
Harold Sammy Larman, 75, died Thursday, Oct. 9, at his home.
Mr. Larman was born in Greene County. He lived in Putnam County before moving to Jasper County about 40 years ago. His parents were the late William Jennings Bryant Larman and Nellie Williams Larman. He owned and operated a dairy farm. Mr. Larman attended Shiloh Baptist Church.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia McAdams Larman of Monticello; daughters, Beth Miller and Carol Carnes of Monticello; grandchildren, Grant Miller, Bethany Carnes, and Sarah Carnes; brothers, Brian Larman and J. P. Larman of Eatonton and sister, Mary Larman of Buckhead.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 11, at Shiloh Baptist Church, with burial in Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Danny Sorrells, Dr. Grady Fuller and Rev. Paul Miller officiated.
Pallbearers were Neil Prewett, Jerry Claborn, Walter Tillman, Paul Bridges, Hulon Adams, and Bobby Greer. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Rowe, Jerry Harris, H. T. Collis, Jack Bailey, and Clinton Carnes.
Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
