George Ben Russell

Funeral services for George Ben Russell, 88, of Shady Dale, are scheduled for today, Oct. 30 at noon at Midway Independent Church.
He died October 26 at his residence.

Mr. Russell was born November 14, 1914 in Jasper County to the late Freeman and Daisy B. Russell.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Nellie Russell; sons, Richard Marks of Atlanta, Calvin Russell, Charles Russell, both of Shady Dale, and Greg Russell of Madison; daughters, Daisy A. Russell and Mary E. Russell, both of Decatur; sisters, Mabel R. Dearro and Selena Jordan, both of Shady Dale; and nine grandchildren.
