Lee Roy Palmer

Lee Roy Palmer, 68, of Monticello, died Tuesday, November 25, at the Retreat Nursing Home.

Mr. Palmer was a native of Toccoa. He lived in DeKalb County before moving to Monticello more than 15 years ago. His parents were the late James Orr Palmer and Mary Carrie Simpson Palmer. Before retirement he was a self-employed brick mason.

Survivors include a brother, William Harrison Palmer of Covington; a sister, Eva Nell Wilkins of Monticello; and nieces and nephews, Tim Palmer, Chris Palmer, Cheri Dilbeck and Tracy Robinson.

A graveside service was to be held Friday, November 28, at 11 A.M. at the Stone Mountain City Cemetery in Stone Mountain. The Rev. Bobby Sauls was to officiate.

Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
