William Sincernee Snow

Funeral services for William Sincernee Snow, 81, were held Sunday, Dec. 7, at First United Methodist Church of Eatonton with burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Dr. Robin Lindsey officiated.
He died December 5 at the Retreat Nursing Home where he was a three year resident.

Mr. Snow was born April 1, 1922 in Putnam County to the late James H. and Annie Sincernee Snow. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eatonton, American Legion and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

The World War II Navy veteran was also a fifty-year member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry in Macon and a fifty year member of the Grand Lodge of Georgia Free and Accepted Masons #4 in Eatonton.

Survivors include his wife, Lugenia Batchelor Snow; daughter, Libby Haley; grandsons, Scott Haley and Dan Haley; great-grandsons, Andrew Haley, Luke Haley, Reed Haley, and Blake Haley, all of Eatonton; sisters, Carolyn NeSmith and Martha Barnes, both of Macon.

Pallbearers were Johnny Harrell, Sammy Wooten, Joe Hudson, Mike Rountree, Chuck Haley, Johnny Hill and Dee Hewitt. Honorary pallbearers were Horace Harper, Tom Brown, Doug Cunningham, Richard Batchelor, Bobby Cumbie, and Al Reaves.

Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
