Mary Napier

Funeral services for Mary L. Napier, 88, were held Januray 6 in the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary in Macon with burial West View Cemetery in
Monticello. The Rev. Wesley Smith officiated.

Mrs. Napier was born in Monticello but lived most of her life in Macon where she taught third grade at Pearl Stephens Elementary School. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the Georgia and National Education Associations.

Survivors include her husband, John Napier; sons, Jack Napier of Macon and Michael Napier of London, England; six grandchildren, John Napier, III of Macon, Gibson Rosania of Long Valley, NJ, Brannon Floyd of Macon, David Napier, Laura Napier, and Mark Napier, all of London, England; two great-grandchildren, Carissa Rosania and Nicholas Rosania of Long Valley, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Alzheimers Association Central Georgia Chapter, 277 MLK Blvd., Macon, Ga. 31201 or to Christ Church, 538 Walnut Street, Macon, Ga. 31201.
Hart’s Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
