Willis Bryant Tillman

Willis Bryant Tillman, 68, of Monticello, died Monday, Dec. 13, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Mr. Tillman was a lifelong resident of Jasper County. His parents were the late George Tillman and Emmie Tillman. Before retirement he was a heavy equipment operator for Jones County. He worked for a number of years as a prison guard for Jasper County.

Survivors include Lillian Scarboro of Monticello, Tammy Mosely of Pinnacle, N.C., Michael Mosely, Alexandria Mosely, Terri Masterson of Augusta, Patti Carnes, Dawn Crowe and Michael Harris, all of Carrollton.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 18, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home, with burial in the Tillman Family Cemetery. Dr. Grady Fuller officiated.
