Sheriff’s Department List Arrests

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the following arrests were made September 19 through September 26:

•Jerry Nathan Lawley, Newborn—possession of drug related objects.
•Amanda Sue Custer, Monti-cello—criminal trespass.
•Labarron Cosby Farrar, Monticello—probation violation.
•Ronnie Dale Smith, Shady Dale—probation violation.

•Merari Tripp, Monticello—probation violation and Probate Court bench warrant.
•Valencia Briana Clark, no address—deposit account fraud warrant and Magistrate Court bench warrant.

•Charles Edward Lynch, Monti-cello—disorderly conduct.
•Willie James Sturdivant, Shady Dale—simple battery.
•Jerry Edgar McClain, Coving-ton—Probate Court bench warrant.

•Odis Lee Ammons, Jr., Monti-cello—Magistrate Court bench warrant.
•Thomas Jason Guerrero, Mans-field—Magistrate Court bench warrant.

Also, during this period, deputies with the JCSO served 14 warrants and 23 civil processes. They conducted 24 traffic stops resulting in nine citations and 16 warnings, issued one citation for violation of a county ordinance, and responded to 113 calls for service as follows:

•Seventeen subject needs officer, nine traffic accident, eight suspicious person/vehicle, seven assist motorist/other, five activated alarm.
•Six each, domestic complaint, theft, transport; four each, assist motorist/keys, escort, trouble unknown, road hazard; three each, dog complaint, burglary, junevile complaint, 911 hang-up.

•Two each, fight, speeding auto, livestock in roadway, lost property, threatening/harassing phone calls, person refusing to leave.
•One each, intoxicated driver, welfare check, 4-wheeler complaint, child custody, discharge firearms, loud music/noise, vandalism, trespassing, abandoned vehicle.
