Thurman Scores 1st NFL TD
Odell Thurman had an interception for a 30-yard touchdown run in the Bengals 31-23 win against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.
The victory gets the Bengals back on the winning track after a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars five weeks into the season. It also places Thurman back on track for consecutive NFL Defensive Player of the Month honors; he received the award in September.

Thurman’s recent performance added another interception, four tackles and two assists to his rookie statistics. His scoring run came late in the third quarter and tied the game at 17. Fellow lineman Tory James tackled a Titans receiver in the process of catching the ball when the ball went airborne and into Thurman’s possession.
Thurman and the Bengals are busy preparing for this week’s battle royal at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers, last year’s AFC North Division winners.
Six weeks into the season, the Bengals now lead that division by 1.5 games over the Steelers. A Bengal win this week extends that lead to 2.5 games and could place them in the driver’s seat for divisional playoffs.
