Charlie Fulton Davis

Charlie Fulton Davis, 98, died Friday, Dec. 2 Funeral services were held December 5 in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in the New Red Hill Church Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Davis is the son of the late Joe and Penny Williams Davis. He was a retired farmer and a member of New Red Hill Holiness Baptist Church.
His wife Alice Jones Davis, daughter Myrtle Davis Horton, son Razz Davis, grandson Andy Davis, and great-grandson Austin Jeffries all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Roger Davis and Gordon Davis, both of Chauncey; Marlene Jeffries of Milan, Jennie Bentley of McRae, and Joanne Miller of Monticello; grandchildren, Shirley Webb, Tim Horton, Jennifer Green, Terry Davis, Teresa LaFavor, Debbie Cravey, Julie Pickren, Charlie Davis, Cutter Davis, Leah Davis, Mitch Jeffries, Charlie Yawn, Fred Bentley, John Miller, Thomas Miller, and Ceji Miller; great-grandchildren, Joseph Webb, Sara Harrell, Dixie Harrell, K.C. Horton, Tommy Pippin, Trae Pippin, Joshua Davis, Will Davis, Harley Davis, Hannah Davis, Hunter Davis, Janci LaFavor, Summer LaFavor, Brandy Lockamy, Emily Cravey, Jaci Cravey, Jeffrey Pickren, Nick Pickren, Carli Davis, Ryan Davis, Drew Jeffries, Lexy Yawn, Grant Miller and Kate Miller; and great-great-grandchildren, Andy Davis and Mattie Lockamy.

Vaughn Funeral Home of McRae was in charge of arrangements.
