M.T. Gaultney
Funeral services for M.T. “Max” Gaultney, III, of Monticello, were held December 14 at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with burial in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. The Revs. Gavin Moon, Morris Mitchell, and Dr. Monroe T. Gaultney, IV officiated.
He died December 12.
Mr. Gaultney was the son of the late M.T., Sr. and Myrtice Gaston Gaultney. He was employed with Lanier Electronics in Thomaston before retiring in 1977. He loved outdoor sports and the water including hunting, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes Gaultney; sons, Dr. Monroe T. Gaultney, IV of Harrisburg, N.C. and Colin Gaultney of Newberry, Fl.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Eloise Moore of Warner Robbins; many nieces and nephews.
Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
