Several Are Arrested
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office the following arrests were made from December 19 to 26:
•Anna Cassetta Mays, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving on a suspended or revoked license.
•Danny Louie Cronic, Monticello—driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana (less than 1 oz.), no insurance.
•Matthew Steven Kreh, Covington-driving on a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, operation of a vehicle without current plates.
•Barbara Dianne Ray, Monticello—giving convicts items without consent.

•Kenneth Gene Overby, Monticello—child support.
•Nicholas Hall, Monticello—disorderly conduct violation.
•Stacey Lynne Anderson, Newborn—probation violation.
•Kenneth Ray Campbell, Monti-cello—hold for Newton Co.
•Roy Lee Ramey, Covington—Superior Court Bench Warrant.
•John Lewis Clark, Monticello—hold for Oxford Police Dept.
•Cindy Denise Tumlin, Griffin—mandatory education of minors violation.
•Jusus Vargas, Monticello—disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
•Michael Wayne Terrell, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Jusus Juarer, Conyers—driving without a license and no tag on vehicle.
•Jarvis Marquize Jenkins, Monticello—aggravated assault.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO served seven warrants and four civil processes. They conducted seven traffic stops resulting in seven citations and one warning, and responded to 102 calls for service as follows:
Ten vehicle accident, eight assist motorist/other, six assist motorist/keys; seven each, alarm, dog complaint, livestock/carcass in road, subject needs office, trouble unknown; four each, argument, 911 hang-up; three each, loud music/noise, threatening/harassing phone calls, vandalism; two each, fight, domestic, intoxicated driver, assist utility, road hazard, person refusing to leave, abandoned vehicle, transport, theft, and one each, prowler, suspicious person/vehicle, speeding auto, escort, fire, mental patient, welfare check, juvenile complaint.
