Carl Dulcie, Sr.

Funeral services for Carl Rudolph Dulcie, Sr., 78, of Turtle Cove, were held January 2 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with burial in Jackson City Cemetery. The Rev. Luther Burns officiated.

He died December 29 at Newton County Medical Center in Covington.

Mr. Dulcie was born October 27, 1927 in West Virginia to the late Steven and Phoebe Bradshaw Dulcie. He was a retired iron and steel worker and was a member of the iron and steel worker’s union. He was of the Baptist faith.

Two stepchildren preceded him in death, Anthony Haws and Gregory Haws.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Marie Hayes Dulcie of Turtle Cove; children, Teresa Anderson of Turtle Cove, Carl Rudolph Dulcie, Jr. of Florida, Stefan Dulcie of Virginia, and Joseph Edward Dulcie of West Virginia; step-children, Brenda Mealer of Stockbridge and Judith Moist of Monticello.

Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
