Sheriff’s Office Reports Arrests

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests for the period April 11-17:

•Philip Wayne Tumlin, Oxford—expired tag and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

•John Williams Kelly, Monticello—boating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Terry Edward Ryles, Sr., Monticello—aggravated assault.

•Ruffie Thurman, Monticello—theft by shoplifting.

•Eugene William Rich, Eaton-ton—deposit account fraud.

•Thomas Jonathan Gaylor, Monticello—probation violation.

•Nicholas Dontavious Ross, Monticello—probation violation.

•Charles David Perry, Monti-cello—probation violation.

•Judy Mauldin Dusenberry, Monticello—hold for warrant in Clayton County.

•Gary Andre Thurman, Monticello—hold for warrant in Fulton County.

•Joe Wayne Little, Monticello—hold for warrant in Newton County.

•Thomas Jay West, Conyers–probation violation.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO served 10 warrants and 24 civil processes. They conducted eight traffic stops resulting in eight warnings, and responded to 131 calls for service as follows:

•Fourteen subject needs officer, 13 traffic accident, 11 activated alarm, eight each domestic dispute and suspicious person/vehicle, seven transport.

•Also, six each dog complaint, assist motorist/keys, livestock/carcass in road, assist motorist/other; four each escort, juvenile complaint, road hazard; three each burglary, welfare check, 911 hang-up; two each theft, assist EMS, theatening/harassing phone calls, and vandalism.

•In addition, one each prowler, speeding auto, intoxicated driver, mental patient, assault, assist utility, 4-wheeler, child custody, counterfeit, discharge firearms, trouble unknown, loud music/noise, trespassing, argument, illegal dumping/littering, lost property, and suspicious package.
