Linda Davis-Sirmons
Graveside services for Linda Sue Davis-Sirmons were held May 30 at Smith & Thomas Cemetery in Monticello. Funeral services were also held May 27 at Mt. Hermon Church in Fort Myers, Fl.
She died May 23.
Mrs. Davis-Sirmons was born December 12, 1959 in Monticello to Dorothy Faye Davis. She attended school in Monticello and later attended the Job Corps in Atlanta.
In 1979, she relocated to Fort Myers where she met and married Larry Sirmons, her husband of nearly 27 years. She had been employed at Gulf Coast Center for 22 years before becoming ill.
In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include her five sons, Marqus, Craig and Trevene, all of Fort Myers, Fl., Larry, Jr. and Mark, both of Columbus; two daughters, Tangala and Shekelia, of Georgia; sisters Vevelyn Davis of Monticello and Margaret Birt of Atlanta; brothers, Steve Davis and Stanley Davis, both of Monticello; one aunt, Fannie Glawson of Monticello; father and mother-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of other relatives and friends.
James C. Boyd Funeral Home and Smith & Sons Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
