Gerald Kincaid

Gerald Roger Kincaid, 59, of Monticello, died Saturday, July 1, at his residence.

Gerald Kincaid was born in Fayette County, W.Va. He lived in Miami, Fla. for a number of years before moving to Monticello two years ago. His parents were the late Ira Clinton Kincaid and Nettie Katherine Mosley Kincaid.

Before retirement, he was a stock clerk and parts broker for Eastern Air Lines for 18 years and Rich International Air Lines. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Kincaid’s brother, Don Kincaid, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Douglas Kincaid and Melanie Kincaid, both of Atlanta, and Cherie Dockery of Stone Mountain; grandchildren, Ashley Ray, Joshua Bowles, Aaron Jones, Trenten Dockery and Devin Dockery; and brothers and sister, Jimmy Kincaid and Pat Pelt, both of Fayetteville and Bill Kincaid of North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 6, at 6 p.m. at the Poston Road Baptist Church in Jonesboro; Pastor Cris Magness will officiate.
