Several Booked into Jail
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the following persons were booked into the Jasper County Jail during the period of August 7 through 14. Persons may have been arrested by Jasper County deputies or by officers with Monticello Police Department, the Georgia State Patrol, or other agencies.
•Charles Edward Lynch, Monticello—open container, shoplifting, public drunk.
•Russell Daniel Hood, Juliette—probation violation.
•Christopher Jabbar Thomas, Covington—Jasper County Probate Court.

•Fidel Ortis Garcia, Shady Dale—no license, alteration of license plates.
•Kytrone Ramon Williams, Shady Dale—probation violation.
•Christopher Neal Leonard, Oxford—probation violation.
•Kenny Leon Strickland, Jr., Monticello—probation violation.
•Gary Andre Thurman, Monticello—battery.
•Richard Lee Clark, Newborn—theft by receiving, marijuana less than one ounce, possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
•Dianand Ragunandan, Monticello—driving on a suspended or revoked license, no tag, failure to maintain lane.
•Charlton Raymeirus Whitlock, Jackson—probation violation.
•Elmer Walter O’Neal, Monti-cello—defective equipment, driving on a suspended or revoked license.
•Patricia Ann Carder, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Robert Lee Maddox, Monticello—child support.
•Tyrone Thurman, Monticello—driving on a suspended or revoked license.
Also, during the period August 8 through 15, deputies with the JCSO served 24 warrants and 41 civil processes, and responded to 154 calls for service.
In addition, during this same period, officers with the Monticello Police Department responded to 74 calls for service.
