Man Charged with Molestation
Investigators with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kenneth Leroy Livingston of Mansfield on August 29 and charged him with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
According to official reports the arrest came as a result of accusations that occurred back in August of 2000.
Also, over the weekend officers with the Department of Natural Resourses made two arrests at the campground of Clybel Wildlife Management Area.
Wallace Gilbert McWaters of Locust Grove, was charged with possession/manufacture/distribution of meth and under the influence on a wildlife management area.
Pamela Renae McWaters of Jonesboro, was charged with possession/manufacture/distribution of meth and carrying drugs over guard line.
Two DNR officers became aware of the couple after overhearing a loud argument between them. After a consent to search a quantity of suspected methamphetamine was discovered. Both subjects were placed under arrest at the time and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Jailers later found two glass tubes that had a white residue in them in Ms. McWaters purse, which led to the charge of carrying drugs over guard line.
Other arrests made by the JCSO for the period of August 28 through September 4, include the following:

•Richard David Hill, Newborn—burglary, theft by receiving.
•Roy Talmage Pittman, Monticello—failure to stop or return to the scene of an accident, failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers.
•Clinton Lee Deaton, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
•Joseph Drew Davis, Newborn—alteration of license plates, no insurance, driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Gregory O’Neal Brice, Macon—Driving while license suspended or revoked, alteration of license plates, no proof of insurance.
•Derrick Owen Dennis, Mansfield—deposit account fraud.
•Kerry Whitley Cherry, Mans-field—Superior Court Bench Warrant.
•Debbie Jean Johnson, Griffin—probation violation.
•Alan Clerkin Bradley, Covington—hold for warrant in Rockdale County.
Also, during the period of August 28 through September 3, deputies with the JCSO served 14 warrants and 14 civil processes. They conducted 24 traffic stops resulting in 12 warnings and 12 citations, and responded to 129 calls for service including 24 subject needs officer, nine traffic accidents, four juvenile complaints and one each burglary and assault.
In addition, during the period mentioned above the Monticello Police Department reported the following arrests:
•Tony Lamar Ross, Sr., Monticello—shoplifting.
•Derrick Driskell, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
The MPD also responded to 96 calls for service including 23 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 14 escort or convoy, 14 subject needs officer and one each of crowd disbursement and theft by taking.
Furthermore, during the same period, the DNR also arrested Garrett Spencer Browning, Barnesville, charged with operating a vessel within 100 feet of a dock, and responded to eight calls for service.
