Sheriff’s Department Lists Arrests
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests for the period of October 17 through 23:
•Brian Allen Reed, Monticello—no insurance, no tag, no license.
•Gary Lewis Baker, Monticello—hold for warrant in Rockdale County.
•Gregory Lee Webster, Monticello—hold for warrant in Walton County.
•John Williams Kelly, Monticello—theft by taking.
•Michael Greene, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Robert Donta Clark, Newborn—marijuana less than one ounce, obstruction of an officer.

•Lloyd Tim Davis, Lilburn—hold for Dekalb County.
•Angel Leon, Warner Robbins—no insurance, no license, failure to stop at stop sign, driving unregistered vehicle.
•Terry Raymond Wilson, Homer—hold for warrant in Newton County.
•Joseph Drew Davis, Newborn—hold for warrant in Newton County.
•Charles Bradley Goen, Griffin—Jasper County Probate Court Bench Warrant.
•Stacey Lynne Anderson, Covington—parole violation.
•Westlee Brook Whitley, Coving-ton—failure to appear Superior Court Bench Warrant.
Also, during this period deputies with the JCSO served 14 warrants and five civil processes.
They conducted 44 traffic stops resulting in 28 warnings and 16 citations, and responded to 107 other calls for service including 53 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 20 subject needs officer, 10 accidents, five dog disturbance and three burglary.
During this same period the Monticello Police Department made the following arrests:
•Kenneth Darnell James, Mon-ticello—criminal trespass, theft by taking, forgery in the first degree, Jasper County Superior Court Bench Warrant.
•Tony Andrews, Monticello—theft by taking, financial transaction card theft.
•Willie Nelson Benjamin, Monti-cello—shoplifting.
In addition, during this period the MPD responded to 113 calls for service including 44 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 11 escort or convoy, 11 subject needs officer, three fight, two alarm and two accidents.
