Iona May Lawrence Robison
Iona May Lawrence Robison, 73, of Shady Dale, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Mrs. Robison was a native of Stone County, Missouri. She lived in Newton County for a number of years before moving to Jasper County in 1977.
Her parents were the late Carl Lawrence and Irene Lebow Lawrence. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale.
She enjoyed crocheting for “Project Linus” and was a beloved “Gram” to all. Husband, Everett Litteral Robison, and brother, Joe Lawrence, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Debbie Robison of Springfield, Mo. and John and Angie Robison of Covington; grandchildren, Blake Robison, Tim Robison, Thomas Robison, Amy Nichole Robison, Sheena Lenee Strange, Justin Lee Strange, Malory Kirsten Strange, Keith Garton, Regina McDougal, Lora Drake, Joshua Drake, and Jessica Drake.
Also, 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Hazel Maples, Ruby Hill, Chloe Powell, Richard Lawrence, Carol Long, and Jack Lawrence, all of Aurora, Mo. and Jim Lawrence of Meeker, Colo.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 18, at Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale. Burial in church cemetery. The Revs. Ed Westbrook and Sonny Drummond officiating.
Jordan Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
