Mrs. Ethel I. Caron

Mrs. Ethel I. Caron, 87, of Monticello, died Saturday, August 30.

She was born in Providence, R.I. on February 9, 1921 to the late George and Rose Daragon. Mrs. Caron moved to this area from Conyers some five and a half years ago. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo. She was retired from K-Mart where she worked as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Caron is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Raymond F. Caron.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law: Raymond and Carol Kirk of Glendale Heights, IL, Robert and Katie Caron of Monticello; daughter: Deborah Caron of Deep Gap, N.C.; grandchildren: Karen Ehrhart, Kenneth Brown, Chase Caron, Jessi Caron; great-grandchildren, Brittney Jaddi and Morgan Ehrhart.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home in Covington on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service for Mrs. Caron will be today, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Reece officiating the service. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.

Wheeler Funeral Home and Crematory in Covington is in charge of arrangements.
